We, at UCPS, embrace cutting-edge teaching methodologies that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. Our dedicated faculty employ a blend of traditional and modern pedagogical techniques, ensuring an engaging and effective learning environment.
From project-based learning to digital classrooms, we strive to make education a dynamic and interactive experience. Our assessment patterns are framed with the efforts to develop critical thinking by challenging students to analyse, evaluate and synthesize information, as expected in a K12 CBSE arena. Our school encourages the students to “think aloud” and systematically approach problems.
The students in UCPS are encouraged to be involved in the planning and organisation of the events, in turn enhancing logical reasoning and an aptitude to dredge up solutions to a problem and make informed decisions.
Notably, the students manoeuvre the Media Club- effectuate digital designing of posters, e-invites, teasers and promotion of the events- invigorating hands-on experience. The quarterly newsletter-UCPS Chronicles is initiated and executed by the Student Editorial Board under the needful guidance of teachers, attaining heights with the Editorial Team co-editing the Student Edition of The Times of India for a day.
An array of Clubs like Carpentry, Photography, Debate/Public Speaking, Calligraphy and Gymnastics inculcate a higher sense of self-esteem and develop essential life skills.
The school reiterates the importance of moral values, and promotes students to be part of activities carved out to instil character and integrity. We have had the honour of hosting the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classroom Program, an initiative of the U.S Government, for the year 2023-2024.
Adding on a feather to our cap was being ranked No: 1 in Co-curricular Education for CBSE Parameters by Education Today magazine.
The school prides itself on a state-of-the-art “i-Zone” Tinkering Laboratory, an environment that instigates students to make a change in our community, employing the doctrines of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics).
Our students have won many awards for creativity and innovation at IIT Madras and at the National and International levels and are raring to go with more ideas and innovations.
